Class takes on the roles of Director of Player Development and Defensive Line Coach for Tulsa.

 Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced on Wednesday that former Omaha Beef Director of Football Operations, Luis Class, has been added to the Tulsa Oilers Football team coaching staff. 

“Luis enters his seventh year as a part of my staff,” said head coach Marvin Jones. “From management to coaching, he is a valuable asset to my staff.”

Class has managerial experience in both Arena Football and Indoor Football and has worked with head coach Marvin Jones in multiple locations during their coaching careers. From 2015-2016, Class was the General Manager and Director of Football Operations for the Las Vegas Outlaws of the XFL. The Brentwood, New York native also served the same roles from 2016-2017 for the Colorado Crush of the IFL. Following his time in Colorado, Class became the Director of Football Operations for the Cedar Rapids Titans of the IFL through 2018, until he took on the role of Director of Football Operations with the Omaha Beef until the end of the 2022 season. 

Before his professional football experience began, Class coached basketball, wrestling, football, and lacrosse for the Police Athletic League and Brentwood Youth Association. He even coached for Floyd Mayweather’s youth football team, “The Money Team.” 

“I am happy to be a part of this opportunity,” said Class. “I am excited to be involved with bringing Indoor Football to Tulsa.”

Class joins head coach Jones and Offensive Coordinator Joshua Resignalo on the current coaching staff for the Tulsa Oilers.

The Oilers will begin their inaugural season in 2023.
