In a press conference held on July 26, Tulsa Oilers owner Andy Scurto and IFL commissioner Todd Tryon confirmed the IFL’s newest franchise is coming to Tulsa. Scurto is now the owner of the Tulsa Oilers and the Tulsa Indoor Football Team.
“We were very pleased with the response from our fans to help us name the team.” said Oilers owner Andy Scurto, “It is obvious we have a lot of excitement for Indoor Football in Tulsa and we are going to have tremendous fan support. There were many great suggestions and it was difficult to narrow it down to only a few. It will be exciting to see the fan’s final choice.”
